The Studio was one of the key arts and crafts movement reviews of art and design at the twilight of the 19th Century and the dawning of the 20th. Filled with beautiful design in colour and in  black and white, it is for any lover of Art Nouveau and the Belle Epoque.  The arts and crafts movement was an attempt to re-evaluate the production of materials and dercorative arts in an age of extreme capitalist industrialism. The magasine was published by the Committee of the Art Workers Guild and the names and groups which were a part of the magasine would greatly influence the future of art and design.
